Tetrate is seeking a dynamic Solutions Engineer with a background in Technical Support or Technical Account Management (TAM) to join our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a deeply technical post-sales implementation position, guiding customers through critical deployments and optimizations. As the Solutions Engineer, you will:
- Post-Sales Implementations: Drive the deployment, integration, and optimization of Tetrate’s solutions within customer environments, ensuring seamless adoption and high satisfaction.
- Provide Technical Support and Training: Serve as the primary technical contact for customers post-sale, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and conducting training sessions to empower users.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and deliver solutions that meet customer needs effectively.
Your success will be measured by:
- Effective Post-Sales Implementation: Successfully guiding customers through deployments, integrations, and optimizations, demonstrating initiative and driving results without extensive oversight.
- Building Customer Trust: Establishing and maintaining trust with enterprise clients by delivering tailored solutions, providing timely support, and consistently demonstrating value.
- Account Growth through Investigative Collaboration: Take a proactive, investigative approach to deeply understand clients’ environments, uncovering areas where Tetrate’s products can add significant value. Leverage these insights to build strong post-sales relationships and identify opportunities for account growth by promoting Tetrate’s solutions. Actively share findings and strategies with the team to foster collaboration and drive collective success.
Required Skills
- Technical Expertise and System Integration: Proficiency in Kubernetes (especially K8s), service mesh architectures, DevOps practices, systems administration, and microservices. Proven ability to lead complex deployments and manage the full sales cycle for service mesh and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration and successful customer adoption.
- Customer Engagement, Problem-Solving, and Collaboration: Ability to deeply understand customer environments, deliver tailored solutions, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. Build trust and drive value through effective communication, clear translation of complex concepts, alignment on goals, and collaborative teamwork. Promote Tetrate’s product offerings to expand customer engagement.
- DevOps and Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline implementation and operational tasks. An in-depth understanding of how these elements fit within broader microservices and cloud-native architectures is essential for ensuring successful post-sales support and implementation. Competency in coding and scripting, enabling the creation of custom demos and proofs-of-concept.

Location
