Tetrate seeks an outcome driven, technically adept Customer Success Manager to champion our enterprise customers, demonstrating how we solve Layer 7 challenges and security vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Own key accounts and drive revenue: Directly manage high-value customer relationships, strategically positioning Tetrate and building deep trust to maximize account growth and achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Proactively solve customer problems: Deeply understand customer pain points and aggressively pursue solutions leveraging Tetrate offerings, partnering with post-sales engineering for rapid and effective implementation.
- Become a trusted advisor and internal champion: Forge strong relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to customers and a powerful advocate for their needs within Tetrate.
- Deliver substantial account expansion: Own and execute the account expansion plan, consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Influence product strategy and win deals: Collaborate with sales, product, support, and engineering, providing essential field intelligence to shape our product roadmap and drive competitive wins.
- Close deals and deliver customer success: Champion the customer experience, ensuring a seamless journey that culminates in closed deals and long-term customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and service mesh, with a strong preference for Istio and Envoy expertise. Experience with API gateways, including Envoy Gateway and AI Gateways, is a plus.
- Relationship Building: Ability to forge trusted relationships with engineers and executives and confidently present strategic plans to various audiences.
- Project Leadership: Highly organized and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and maintain alignment between customer and Tetrate teams.
- Customer Advocacy: Ability to create outstanding customer experiences by effectively leveraging Tetrate’s talent and products. A strong sales presence and customer focus are essential.
Qualifications:
- Experienced customer success professionals in infrastructure software space and with a proven track record of customer satisfaction and NDR growth.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for C-level executives and technical experts.
- Self-starter with a relentless drive for outcomes. This is a lifestyle choice, not a job.
- Diligent in project management and follow through. You will need to manage 15-20 customers and ensure availability and communication between all internal and external stakeholders.
